About the exposure data ▸
  • Curated, approximate snapshot — exposure weights are sourced from published ETF factsheets and rounded for illustration. They are not live data.
  • As of 2026-06-10 — the dataset is refreshed periodically. Always verify with the fund provider for current information.
  • Target weights, not drift — the chart reflects the weights you type in, not your actual held quantities. Real portfolios drift as prices move.
  • Curated coverage — the picker includes a curated set of popular Australian-listed ETFs and shares; tickers outside that set are not available in this tool.

FAQ

Questions about portfolio allocation

Where does the exposure data come from?

From a curated, approximate snapshot of each ETF's published geographic and sector breakdown. It's illustrative and shown with an as-of date — not live data. Track your real, live look-through allocation on Metrifly.

Why does my home country dominate the chart?

Many Australian investors hold a large ASX allocation. Home-country bias concentrates risk; seeing it clearly is the first step to deciding whether to diversify.

What does 'Unclassified' mean?

We don't yet have look-through data for that ticker (often an individual stock or a niche ETF), so its weight is shown separately rather than guessed.

Is this my actual allocation?

No — it's based on the target weights you type in. Your real portfolio drifts as prices move. Metrifly tracks your actual allocation and drift automatically once you import your trades.
