Your password is cyphered and we don’t have access to it. Try to remember it even though you can recover it by email.


If you don't have a paid account, the measurements you perform can be shared with others. This can reveal the location of where the measurements took place, as well as the quality of the connection you are measuring and, at the same time, the name of the Access Point or Cell Reference, you are connected to.


If you have a paid account, the data you collect is only available to you or to the groups of people you decide to share it with. If you decide to share your data in a group, other people that belong to that group will see your measurements and where you collected them, in a map, and through the geolocation reference in terms of longitude and latitude. Should you decide not to share your data in a group, the measurements you collected will not be provided to others, nor the location where you performed said measurements. However, metrifly, can use this information to infer the overall performance of the networks you measurements, without relating this information to you. This does not mean that we will and have to do so, but that we can do so in some specific cases.

The characteristics of the smartphone you use to collect information will also be reported and stored online. The data we collect regarding the smartphone is the same as other services do when you access websites on your smartphone. These include, but are not restricted to phone model, phone navbar-brand, operating system version, etc. When you download the mobile application, all the collected data will be signaled to you, via the permissions you require to accept. We do not collect any personal information from the phone.

If your account belongs to an organization account, the data you collect will be shared with your organization.

The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of the site (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Owner. The updated list of these parties may be requested from the Data Controller at any time.

Retention time

The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the User, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, and the User can always request that the Data Controller suspend or remove the data.

The Data concerning the User is collected to allow the Application to provide its services, as well as for the following purposes: Analytics, Location-based interactions and Registration and authentication. The Personal Data used for each purpose is outlined in the specific sections of this document.

This Application does not support “Do Not Track” requests. To determine whether any of the third party services it uses honor the “Do Not Track” requests, please read their privacy policies.

Changes to this privacy policy

The Data Controller reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by giving notice to its Users on this page. It is strongly recommended to check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the bottom. If a User objects to any of the changes to the Policy, the User must cease using this Application and can request that the Data Controller erase the Personal Data. Unless stated otherwise, the then-current privacy policy applies to all Personal Data the Data Controller has about Users.
